Banff/Lake Louise Tour

For Companions of the 2004 NSS Conference, the organizers arranged a Banff/Lake Louise tour. On Tuesday, November 16th, participants journeyed by coach on this impressive sightseeing event.

A must see for any visitor to the Calgary area, the tour included a visit to The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise with its spectacular scenery and dramatic mountain backdrop. The Chateau is situated on the shore of the lake and was voted by Gourmet Magazine as the hotel with the "Best View in the World."

Next, it was on to a full tour of Banff and area, with a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. The day also included time for shopping at Banff's world-class shops before heading back to Calgary. Cost: $79 CAD per person.
