Canadian honoured with Thomas A. Edison award

Congratulations to Canadian Nic Maennling, Secretary of the international technical committee on Fire Hazard Testing (IEC TC 89), one of five recipients from around the globe to receive the 2010 Thomas A. Edison Award. Honouring a select group of individuals who contribute to making technology-based products safer, the award will be presented in October at the 74th International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) General Meeting in Seattle, Washington.
