A Canadian businessman has lent his voice to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)’s latest campaign to inform small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the benefits of standards.

Doug Smith, the president of Conematic Heating Systems Inc. of Calgary, is one of 10 business representatives from different countries quoted in ISO’s new brochure, “10 good things ISO standards do for SMEs.”

In the brochure, Smith touts the benefits that certification to standards can have for small, privately owned businesses.
