Involved in international standards development? SCC wants your input.

2011-12-01

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is currently soliciting feedback from representatives of industry associations, organizations, and Canadian advisory and technical committees who are active in international standardization activities.

As leader of Canada’s national standardization network, SCC requires collaboration and input from a range of government and industry stakeholders. Such feedback is essential as it helps SCC define the strategies and policies it needs to effectively lead and strengthen Canada’s standardization infrastructure. For example, does Canada have the right people participating on the right international committees—those whose contributions will yield the greatest long-term value for this country?

SCC welcomes the opportunity to engage with those who are actively involved in international standards development in order to better understand the interests of its members. Stakeholders are invited to contact Keith Jansa, Program Manager, International Standards Development, at [email protected].
