Subject: U.S. National Body Endorsement of Dr. James Mason as the U.S. Candidate for JTC 1/SC 34 Chairman



Dear Ms. Topping: 



Dr. James Mason has volunteered to serve a term as Chairman of JTC 1/SC 34. As result of the closure of JTC 1 TAG letter ballot 1908, he has gained the endorsement of the U.S. National Body. The U.S. National Body feels that Dr. Mason has the necessary resources to carry out the responsibilities of the Chairman of JTC 1/SC 34.
