1. SPDL (Standard Page Description Language)

In accordance with the recommendation 1 of the WG2 meeting (SC34 N159) in Paris, the defect editor started his work to draft Technical Corrigendum 1 to SPDL - ISO/IEC 10180:1995.

2. ISO/IEC 10036
[Project JTC1.34.27.04]

2.1 TC1 to ISO/IEC 10036

The Technical Corrigendum 1 to ISO/IEC 10036:1996, Procedures for registration of font-related identifiers, was circulated for TC ballot within SC34 and approved as shown its voting summary (SC34 N174).

2.2 ISO/IEC 10036 Registration Authority

JTC1 approved (in JTC1 N6340) the transfer of responsibility from AFII to GLOCOM of the registration authority for ISO/IEC 10036. In JTC1 N6340, SC34 is instructed to provide Glocom with the comments received for their consideration.

However, Glocom has not yet been informed of any information for the comments.

3. DSSSL (Document Style Semantics and Specification Language)

3.1 TC1 to DSSSL

The Technical Corrigendum 1 to ISO/IEC 10179:1996, DSSSL was circulated for TC ballot within SC34 and approved as shown its voting summary (SC34 N175).

3.2 AM1 to DSSSL

JTC1 approved (in JTC1 N6339) the subdivision of project JTC1.34.15.06.01:

4.1 AM3 to ISO/IEC 9541-1: Multilingual extensions to font resource architecture
[Project JTC1.34.27.01.03]

The FDAM3 text was circulated for FDAM ballot within JTC1 and approved as shown its voting summary (SC34 N177). Responding to the ITTF request for its proof checking and endorsement, the project editor endorsed the publication.

4.2 AM1 to ISO/IEC 9541-2: Support for font technology advances
[Project JTC1.34.27.02.01]

The FDAM3 text was circulated for FDAM ballot within JTC1 and approved as shown its voting summary (SC34 N178). Responding to the ITTF request for its proof checking and endorsement, the project editor endorsed the publication.

4.3 AM1 to ISO/IEC 9541-1: Typeface design grouping

It is now in the final stage for publication by ITTF.
