Recommendations of December 2002 Meeting of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34/WG1 in Baltimore

1. Disposition of Ballot Comments on DTR 9573-11

WG1 recommends SC34 accept SC34 N366 as the disposition of comments on JTC1 N6818 (SC34 N0305rev): ISO/IEC TR 9573-11 2nd edition, and instruct the editor to create the final text and forward it to the SC34 Secretariat for publication.

2. Disposition of Ballot Comments on FCD ISO/IEC 19757-2 RELAX-NG

WG1 recommends SC34 accept SC34 N361 as the disposition of comments on JTC1/SC34 N0355 Summary of Voting on JTC 1/SC 34 N 320 Rev – FCD Ballot to ISO/IEC 19757-2 – Document Schema Definition Languages (DSDL) – Part 2: Grammar-based validation – RELAX NG

The working group notes the title of this part has been changed to

  • Regular-grammar-based validation - RELAX-NG

3. Document Schema Definition Languages - Part 2 FDIS

WG1 recommends SC34 accept N362 as the proposed text for Part 2 of DSDL ISO/IEC 19757 Regular-grammar-based validation - RELAX-NG and transmit it to the SC34 Secretariat for FDIS ballot.

4. Withdrawal of TR 22250

WG1 recommends SC34 request JTC1 to ballot the withdrawal of TR 22250-1 and TR 22250-2 with the closing date to correspond, respectively, with the successfully closing dates of the existing DIS ballot for ISO/IEC 19757 Part 2 RELAX-NG and of a future DIS ballot for ISO/IEC 19757 Part 4 Selection of validation candidates.

5. Document Schema Definition Languages - Part 4 CD

WG1 recommends SC34 accept N363 as the proposed text for Part 4 of DSDL ISO/IEC 19757 Selection of Validation Candidates and transmit it to the SC34 Secretariat for CD ballot.

6. Document Schema Definition Languages - Part 0 CD

WG1 recommends SC34 accept N365 as the proposed text for Part 0 of DSDL ISO/IEC 19757 Overview and transmit it to the SC34 Secretariat for CD ballot.

7. Endorsement of new DSDL Project Lead

WG1 accepts with appreciation the offer by Martin Bryan to be the new project lead and general editor for ISO/IEC 19757 Document Schema Definition Languages (DSDL).
