In looking at the text again for the preparation of the British comments I
noticed a number of things that I had missed in the first draft, but as this
vote is a simple Yes/No ballot I was not allowed to submit them as UK
comments. You might, however, like to note the following:
The tokens good-size and select-of-list in 12.6.28.5 and 12.6.28.7 are not
ideal English. They would be more readable as optimum-size (or
preferred-size) and select-from-list.
In the last paragraph of 12.2.1 you have a "will" and a "may" that seem
contradictary. Does DSSSL define a core interface for page composition? If
it does not, the second sentence should be removed.
In 12.6.28.5, in the description of frame-size, "used online display" should
read "used for online display".
In 12.6.28.7 should the token "words" for dialogue-return-type really be
"word"? If not, what differentiates words from phrase? (Maybe you mean
tokens and phrase, rather than word and phrase.)
In 12.6.29.2 "class specify animation on online" should read "class is used
to specify animation on a online".
In B.1 it is inconsistent to say that the value is either #t and #f and then
to say that any other value means true.
In definition of pair in B.1 "with head part" should be "from a head part"
The example of the use of quantity, (even? tapesize), is a poor one. In
definition of quantity type you refer to a "base unit" but elsewhere in the
same paragraph use the more logical term "dimension" for this. You should be
consistent. Instead of "is used for a large size" you should use "allows a
large size"
In B.2 "SDQL to specify" should read "SDQL that is used to specify".
The objects in B.3 and B.4 should be defined somewhere with at least single
line definitions of the type shown in B.1

Dear Mr. Takahashi
SC34 Secretariat, Sara, informed me of the result of voting on ISO/IEC 10179
/FDAmd.1 in 2003-08-01. The result shows that FDAmd.1 was approved with
13 P-Members in favour out of 13(= 100%).
However, CANADA noted an editorial change:
row 0009 of table F.1 where the default value should be "... no space before
..."instead of "... no space after ...".
Is it possible to include the Canadian comment into the final text?
Besides, Sara requested me to circulate the final text within SC34.
Could you send me the final text (in PDF and/or word forms)?
