Recommendations of April 2008 Meeting of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34/WG2 in Oslo

1. Amd.2 to ISO/IEC 9541-3 (Font information interchange - Glyph Shape Representation)

WG2 accepts WG2 N299 as ballot disposition of ISO/IEC 9541-3/PDAM.2 and WG2 N301 as FPDAM text for ISO/IEC 9541-3/Amd.2, and forwards WG2 N301 to SC34 Secretariat for FPDAM processing.

2. ISO/IEC 9541-4 (Font information interchange - Harmonization to Open Font Format)

WG2 accepts WG2 N303 as ballot disposition of CD 9541-4 and WG2 N304 as FCD text for ISO/IEC 9541-4, and forwards WG2 N304 to SC34 Secretariat for FCD processing.

3. ISO/IEC 24754 (Minimum requirements for specifying document rendering systems)

WG2 reviewed the FDIS text (SC34 N954rev), and requests the Project Editors to develop the final text of ISO/IEC 24754 after the FDIS approval.

4. Liaison statement to SC29/WG11 on SC29 N9090 (SC34 N1005)

WG2 accepts WG2 N311 as liaison statement to SC29/WG11 on SC29 N9090 (SC34 N1001) and instructs SC34 Secretariat to forward it to SC29/WG11.

5. Program of Work

WG2 accepts WG2 N306 as the revised program of work for WG2.

6. WG2 Meetings Schedule

The next WG2 meeting will be held in conjunction with the next SC34 plenary.

WG2 expresses its appreciation to Standard Norge for handling arrangements of the WG2 meeting.
