Report of ISO/IEC 10036 Registration

As previously reported, the RA server was out of operation for some time due to the technical problems. The Registration Authority has put a temporary server at the following URI, http://glyphsv.ipc.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/. The temporary server is kindly offered by Dr Toshiya Suzuki of Hiroshima University, Japan. The registration authority appreciates his cooperation.
The Registration Authority has begun reviewing the registration process of font-related objects in order to drive the use of the 10036 registry mechanism to a greater degree. In the review, the collection of registration fees will also be discussed, which may result in reduction or removal of registration fees.
