Recommendations of Sept. 2009 Meeting of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34/WG2 in Seattle

1. Second editions of ISO/IEC 9541-1, -2, and -3 (Font information interchange)

WG2 instructs the project editors to develop FCD texts of the 2nd editions including the discussions in the Seattle meeting.

2. Cor.1 to ISO/IEC 9541-4 (Font information interchange - Harmonization to Open Font Format)

WG2 requests the editor to provide a disposition of the comments for SC34 N1235 after termination of the DCor. ballot.

3. Subdivision of Project 24754 (Minimum requirements for specifying document rendering systems)

WG2 accepts WG2 N368 as a requirement for writing a formatting specification and subdivides the existing project of ISO/IEC 24754 to develop the following part:

4. UOML (Unstructured Operation Markup Language)

WG2 identified that OASIS has submitted the UOML Part 1 to JTC1 using a PAS procedure. WG2 requests Mr. Wang Donglin to confirm, via OASIS, the JTC1 schedule of DIS 14297 circulation.

5. Program of Work

WG2 accepts WG2 N366 as the revised program of work for WG2.

6. WG2 Meetings Schedule

The next WG2 meeting will be held in conjunction with the next SC34 plenary.

7. Acclamation

WG2 expresses its appreciation to US national body for handling arrangements of the WG2 meeting.
