Recommendations of Mar. 2011 Meeting of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34/WG2 in Prague

1. New UOML (Unstructured Operation Markup Language)

Considering the liaison activities from OSAIS UOML-TC, WG2 requests Mr. Peter Junge to show the scope and purpose/justification of the new UOML for WG2 to begin discussions on ISO standardization of the new UOML.

2. Second editions of ISO/IEC 9541-1, -2, and -3 (Font information interchange)

WG2 reviewed the proposed FCD texts (WG2 N411, N412 and N413) of the 2nd editions and instructs the project editors to forward revised texts including all discussions in the Prague meeting to SC34 Secretariat for FCD processing.

3. ISO/IEC 24754-2, Formatting specifications for document rendering systems

WG2 accepts WG2 N407 and N408 as a disposition of the comments on DTR 24754-2 and the revised final text of TR 24754-2 including the DTR ballot dispossition respectively. WG2 instructs the project editors to forward the final text to SC34 Secretariat for publication.

4. Liaison statement to SC29/WG11

WG2 accepts WG2 N405 as the liaison statement on ISO/IEC 14496-22 to SC29/WG11 and instructs SC34 Secretariat to forward it to SC29/WG11.

5. Program of Work

WG2 accepts WG2 N409 as the revised program of work for WG2.

6. WG2 Meetings Schedule

The next WG2 meeting will be held in Sept. 28 and 29, 2011 in Pusan.

7. Acclamation

WG2 expresses its appreciation to Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMZ) for handling arrangements of the WG2 meeting.
