Report of ISO/IEC 10036 Registration

AFII Data

To restore AFII data for the publication on the web site of 10036RA, Suzuki is still searching the appropriate softwares which can load old AFII data in legacy Microsoft Access format.

Maintenance

Since when GLOCOM was assigned to work for the glyph registration autority, only Kamimura could manipulate the glyph database. In previous meetings of 10036 RA, the registration without fee is dicussed. The RA committee had a concern that the free registration may induce many registation request of small glyph collection, it can make Kamimura exhausted. Considering the web server is moved to Hiroshima University, Kamimura and Suzuki are in the preparation to make Suzuki the second maintenancer of the database. Also the process of the registration is being revisited; The duplication of the glyph image with different background would be permitted explicitly.
