Responding to the request of SC34 Secretariat and ITTF, the project editors proposed a new title and numbering:
ISO/IEC 24754-1 Information technology - Document description and processing languages - Minimum requirements for specifying document rendering systems - Part 1: Feature specifications for document rendering systems.
NOTE The title of 24754-2 isISO/IEC TR 24754-2 Information technology - Document description and processing languages - Minimum requirements for specifying document rendering systems - Part 2: Formatting specifications for document rendering systems.
ITTF drafted a Cor.1 to ISO/IEC 24754:2008 to notify the new title and numbering. The project editors requested ITTF to make slight modofications on the Scope:
Page 1, Scope Replace "International Standard" with "part of ISO/IEC 24754" (four occurrences).' should be replaced with: Page 1, Scope, para.1 Replace "this standard" with "ISO/IEC 24754". Page 1, Scope, para.2 Replace "This International Standard" with "ISO/IEC 24754". Page 1, Scope, para.3 and 4 Replace "International Standard" with "part of ISO/IEC 24754" (three occurrences).
