Workplace Atmospheres (CAC/ISO/TC 146/SC 2)

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking interested parties to participate on the Canadian technical committee on Workplace Atmospheres  (CAC/ISO/TC 146/SC 2) and represent the following membership categories: consumers, industry, regulators and manufacturers.

Your are invited to submit your curriculum vitae (CV), along with a statement outlining your interests and ability to contribute to the work of the “CAC/ISO/TC 146/SC 2", to Ginette Grant, (Program Officer, ISO, Standards Council of Canada) by February 17, 2006.

Scope

Standardization of tools for air quality characterization of emissions, workspace air, ambient air, indoor air, in particular measurement methods for air pollutants (particles, gases, odors, micro-organisms) and for meteorological parameters, measurement planning, procedures for Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and methods for the evaluation of results including the determination of uncertainty.

    * Possess the technical knowledge and or experience related to the subject matter
    * Active participation, commitment and a willingness to undertake committee work and prepare required reports and meeting documents in an electronic environment.
    * Ability and willingness to meet and respect deadlines and follow Standards Council of Canada procedures, directives and committee terms of reference.
    * Represent stakeholder groups and views. Consult with your constituency and bring their concerns to the table.
