Asset Publisher 2004-09-02 Dimensional and geometrical product specifications and verification (CAC/ISO/TC 213) [campaign closed]The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking interested parties to participate on the Dimensional and geometrical product specifications and verification committee (CAC/ISO/TC 213) and represent the following membership categories: consumers, industry, regulators and manufacturers. Scope: Standardization in the field of geometrical product specifications (GPS), i.e. macro and microgeometry specifications covering dimensional and geometrical tolerancing, surface properties and the related verification principles, measuring equipment and calibration requirements including the uncertainty of dimensional and geometrical measurement. The standardization includes the basic layout and explanation of drawing indications (symbols). Excluded: the definition of the specific proportions and dimensions of drawing indications (symbols) and their execution. The Standards Council of Canada is looking for technical experts from the various Canadian companies that have a stake in the implementation of this technology to participate in the review and drafting of standards.
