Opportunity to participate on committee developing standards for Springs (CAC/ISO/TC 227)

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking interested parties representing industry, regulators and consumers, to participate in its to participate in a committee on Springs (CAC/ISO/TC 227).

Scope of CAC/ISO/TC 227

The committee reviews and develops standards on the topic of metal springs. It addresses product tolerances, terms and test methods, and process technology (such as heat treatments, surface treatments, shot peening, etc.) for springs.

The Standards Council of Canada is looking for technical experts that would like to participate in the review and drafting of related standards.

Deadline for submission

Interested parties should submit their curriculum vitae along with a statement outlining their interest and ability to contribute to the work of CAC/ISO/TC 227 by August 31, 2007.
