Opportunity to participate on committee developing standards for Fertilizers and Soil Conditioners

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking interested parties to participate in its committee on Fertilizers and Soil Conditioners (CAC/ISO/TC 134) and, represent the following membership categories: consumers, industry, regulators and manufacturers.

Scope of CAC/ISO/TC 134

The committee reviews and develops standards on the topic of fertilizers and soil conditioners, i.e. materials whose addition is intended to ensure or improve the nourishment of cultivated plants and/ or to improve the properties of soils.

The Standards Council of Canada is looking for technical experts that have a stake in the implementation and would like to participate in the review and drafting of related standards.

Deadline for submission

Interested parties should submit their curriculum vitae along with a statement outlining their interests and ability to contribute to the work of CAC/ISO/TC 134 by April 15, 2007.
