Opportunity to participate on committee developing standards for Materials for the production of Primary Aluminium (CAC/ISO/TC 226)

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking interested parties representing industry, regulators and consumers, to participate in a committee on Materials for the production of Primary Aluminium (CAC/ISO/TC 226).

Scope of CAC/ISO/TC 226

The committee reviews and develops standards on the topic of materials for the production of primary aluminium.  This includes aluminium oxide, cryolite, aluminium fluoride, sodium fluoride, carbonaceous products and ceramic materials.

The Standards Council of Canada is looking for technical experts that would like to participate in the review and drafting of related standards.

Deadline for submission

Interested parties should submit their curriculum vitae along with a statement outlining their interest and ability to contribute to the work of CAC/ISO/TC 226 by August 31, 2007.
