Opportunity to participate on committee developing standards related to steel for structural purposes (CAC/ISO/TC 17/SC 3)

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking interested parties – representing industry/manufacturers and regulators and consumers - to participate in its committee on steel for structural purposes (CAC/ISO/TC 17/SC 3).

Scope of CAC/ISO/TC 17/SC 3

The committee reviews and develops standards in the field of cast, wrought and cold-formed steel, including delivery conditions for steel tubes for pressure purposes.  Technical experts will participate in the review and drafting of the related standards and will have a stake in the implementation of the documents.

Deadline for submission

Individuals are invited to submit their curriculum vitae along with a statement outlining their interests and ability to contribute to the work of CAC/ISO/TC 17/SC 3 to SCC by January 15, 2007.
