The Canadian Water Meter Summit and Smart Energy Canada Conference will be held from February 13 to 15, 2011 at the Toronto Hyatt Regency Hotel. Of relevance to the standardization community is the session on Standards and the Smart Grid: An Assessment of Latest Developments, which is being held on February 15 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. As part of the Standards Council of Canada’s involvement with this event, members of Canada's national standardization network may qualify for a 30% registration discount.
