WSC Academic Day 2011 (Hangzhou, China)

The World Standards Collaboration (WSC) will be holding WSC Academic Day 2011 on June 29, 2011 in Hangzhou, China.

The event aims to build upon the success of WSC Academic Week, which took place in Geneva in 2010, and define specific actions to be taken over the coming twelve months that will encourage greater dialogue and collaboration between academia and the standards community.

The initiative will immediately follow the lnternational Cooperation on Education about Standardization (ICES) Workshop, which is taking place in Hangzhou on June 27 and 28, 2011. ICES is an informal group of academic institutions with mutual interests and involvement in the standards field. The workshop will explore the field of academic research in the standards area and teaching about standardization.
