Q: Where can I find a list of National Standards of Canada?

A: SCC’s website allows the public to search for all standards including National Standards of Canada, via its search engine.

To search for a National Standard of Canada:

• Click on the Search link (located in the top right-hand corner of every page);
• Click on the second tab labelled Standards;
• In the Standards number field, type in the abbreviation "CAN";
• Click the button: "Search for standard(s)" (To exclude WITHDRAWN standards check the box);
• The search will return a list of all of the National Standards of Canada in order of most recent publication date;
• Scroll through the list and click on the standards number to read descriptions of each standard and to find out how to purchase copies.
