CAG

A Chair Advisory Group (CAG) is established by a policy committee or parent technical committee of a standards development organization on an as-needed basis, and at the request of the Chair. A CAG does not make decisions for the committee but identifies issues, holds preliminary discussions and makes recommendations through the committee Chair. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO)’s Developing Countries (DEVCO) CAG is just one CAG in which the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) participates.
