COSIRA

The Canadian Open Systems Interconnection Registration Authority (COSIRA) assigns and registers numeric and alphanumeric name values for all organizations that wish to have such names publicly known and registered at the national level for the purpose of open systems communication. Although the SCC is formally in charge of COSIRA, it has assigned the Government Telecommunications and Infomatics Services (GTIS) as registration authority.
