CAC/CASCO

The Canadian Advisory Committee (CAC) to the International Organization for Standardization's Committee on Conformity Assessment (ISO/CASCO) is a subcommittee of the Advisory Committee on Conformity Assessment (ACCA). CAC/CASCO provides the opportunity for Canadian input into all activities of ISO/CASCO. This includes contributing to international guidelines and standards related to testing, inspection and certification of products, processes and services. It also promotes the mutual recognition and acceptance of national and regional conformity assessment systems. Canada is represented on ISO/CASCO and CAC/CASCO through the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).
