Dr. Dunn has worked tirelessly and with great dedication for nearly 30 years to advance the cause of rubber standards both within ISO and in the North American context. Dr. Dunn held the Chair of the CAC/ISO TC 45- Rubber and Rubber Products from 1973-2000 and continues to participate in the activities of this Committee. Dr. Dunn never missed a single international meeting of TC 45 as he enthusiastically led the Canadian delegation to these gatherings, all the while formulating and promoting Canada's position on the various issues of standardization.

Dr. Dunn's leadership and his expertise in rubber technology is acknowledged throughout the world. His many papers and contributions to textbooks attest to his vast and thorough knowledge of this subject. Dr. Dunn is held in high esteem by the scientific community and his peers in standards work. His contributions to the development and implementation of standards in the rubber industry worldwide is second to none.
