2010 World Standards Day [Archive]

In 2010, the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) celebrated a milestone 40th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the SCC hosted a special event on World Standards Day (October 14, 2010) that included a presentation on the evolution of accessibility standards in Canada, an armchair session showcasing several perspectives on how standards enable accessibility and an exhibit component.

National stakeholders, committee members, accredited clients and potential partners—from government and industry, as well as consumers and members of the Canadian public—were invited to participate.
