Q: How can I find out if an organization is accredited / recognized by the Standards Council? AND How do I verify the scope or fields of activity of that accreditation / recognition?

All organizations that have been accredited or recognized by the SCC are listed on the SCC Web site.

If you know the name of a particular organization you can use the search function to check its status and to access scopes of accreditation. To find out which organizations are accredited by the SCC in a specific program, visit Programs and Services. Accredited clients and their scopes of accreditation are listed for each program (and specialty area where applicable). Any newly accredited or recognized organizations, or changes to the status of an accreditation or recognition are posted in the notices section on our homepage, as well as within the corresponding program areas.
