The Standards Council of Canada recommends that organizations that want to certify their quality management system do so through an accredited certification body. Accreditation helps to ensure that your certification will be accepted by potential customers in Canada and around the world.

Certification bodies are accredited to certify organizations in specific industrial sectors. They may also be qualified to certify organizations to one or more of the sector-specific applications of ISO 9000. Our list of accredited certification bodies includes this information.

Once you've found the most likely candidates, talk to each certification body to see how well they understand your business and the particular challenges that you face.
